Cynefin [Welsh] /kuh-nev-in/
The feeling of belonging to a place; the way that land, people and culture shape one another over time...
About /
Rooted in Cymru, growing together
Situated on the edge of the Black Mountains, Bryn Cynefin is an off-grid regenerative farm. We are developing 16-acres of sloping pasture and woodland into a thriving perennial food system, combining horticulture, a heritage orchard, agroforestry, rotational grazing and wild tending.
We believe in building ecological and social resilience within our local community, guided by the permaculture ethics of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Shares.
Cynefin Kitchen exists to nourish people and place through regenerative food, land stewardship, and community connection.
In 2026, Bryn Cynefin will join a growing movement of low-impact pioneers across Wales, working with the land to create a sustainable future under the Welsh One Planet Development planning policy.
